The short version

PAUSE collects no data. None. The app does not request the Internet permission, so it is technically incapable of sending anything off your device.

Data collection and sharing

PAUSE does not collect, store remotely, share, or sell any personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that transmit data.

Data stored on your device only

Your settings (which apps to pause, timing, language), your custom dhikr, and your حسنات counter are stored locally on your device and never leave it. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Permissions explained

• Accessibility service — used solely to detect which app is in the foreground so PAUSE can show its reminder over the apps you selected. PAUSE reads only the app's package name; it does not read, store, or transmit screen content or any personal data.
• Display over other apps — used to draw the pause reminder screen.
• Query all packages — used to show you the list of your installed apps so you can choose which to pause. The list never leaves your device.

Children

PAUSE is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address.
